Introduction

The GCCI-CI initiative is anchored in a transformative vision that aims to develop localized industrial value chains, expand manufacturing capacity, and strengthen Africa’s economic
sovereignty. It also seeks to create sustainable employment opportunities, particularly for youth and women, while promoting environmentally sustainable and climate-resilient development models.

The mission of GCCI-CI is to advance trade, investment, and economic cooperation between Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, and the wider African continent by facilitating strategic partnerships, improving market access, and advocating for enabling policies.

Strategic Role

GCCI-CI serves as a key convenor and facilitator, connecting governments, investors,development finance institutions, and entrepreneurs to design, finance, and implement integrated
industrial projects.

Vision

The vision of the Ghana-Côte d’Ivoire Chamber of Commerce and Industry is to establish the Ghana–Côte d’Ivoire corridor as a leading industrial, commercial, and logistics hub in West Africa.

Governance

A robust multi-stakeholder governance structure will be established, comprising government representatives, private sector investors, development partners, and community stakeholders. Its core functions will include project prioritization, regulatory coordination, monitoring and evaluation, and ensuring transparency and accountability.
